Course Description

- 58 hours of in-person instruction:
  - Phlebotomy
    - Phlebotomy equipment and procedures
    - Blood collection by venipuncture and capillary punctures
    - Basic anatomy as it relates to blood collection
    - Safety procedures
    - Professional ethics and liability

Prerequisites

18 years of age or older

Test Scheduling Instructions

- Hennepin Tech Accuplacer Reading Exam Passing Score:
  - Classic Test: 56 or Higher
  - Next Gen Test: 228 or Higher
